Dhruv Seth.
I build serious software.

Full-stack engineer focused on the hard parts: real-time systems, infrastructure tooling, and GPU-accelerated interfaces. I care about the architecture under the hood as much as the pixels on top.

// 02 — engineering mindset

I optimise for the system, not the screenshot.

The interesting part of software is the architecture you don't see — the decisions that make the next ten features cheap. That's where I spend my time.

01

Systems over features

I optimise for the architecture that makes the next ten features cheap, not just the one in front of me.

02

Performance is a feature

Latency, frame rate, and cold-start time are part of the product. Users feel them even when they can't name them.

03

Ship, measure, refine

Real software meets reality early. I get things in front of users, instrument them, and let data drive the next move.

// the journey

The path here.

A rough timeline of how the work has evolved.

  1. 2019
    First lines of production code

    Started shipping real software — small tools and sites — and got hooked on the loop of building, breaking, and fixing.

  2. 2021
    Going full-stack

    Moved from UI work into APIs, databases, and deployment. Learned to think about systems end-to-end, not just screens.

  3. 2023
    Real-time & infrastructure

    Dove into distributed systems, containers, and observability. Started treating reliability and performance as features, not afterthoughts.

  4. 2025
    Building developer platforms

    Began ForgeOps and a set of internal tools — turning repeated ops pain into reusable engines other developers can build on.

  5. 2026
    Shipping at a new altitude

    Focused on a small number of ambitious products designed to scale — and writing about the architecture along the way.

// 03 — capability matrix

The stack I build on.

Comfortable across the whole stack — from WebGL frontends to distributed backends and the infrastructure underneath.
